You made some assumptions about my future earnings when you estimated my benefits on the automatic Social Security Statement. Can I get a Social Security Statement using my own assumptions about what I expect to earn and when I plan to stop working?

Yes, you can request a Statement with your own assumptions by completing Form Social Security Administration-7004, Request for an Earnings and Benefit Estimate Statement. Social Security will send you a new Statement in about 4 weeks. You can also go to the Social Security Administration’s Benefits Planners with the earnings shown on your Statement to calculate other estimates yourself.
